Welcome! I'm a Korean language teacher at Mindful Korean Stories.

 

Originally from Korea, I spent many years teaching English before completing my Master’s in TESOL at Western University in Ontario, Canada.

​Now, I share my passion for language as a Korean teacher, helping learners connect deeply with Korean through mindful and meaningful learning experiences.

​

I find joy in traveling, taking quiet walks, and engaging in heartfelt conversations with people from all walks of life. But above all, picture books have been my lifelong sanctuary. From the moment I first learned to read, to holding my child in my arms, to dreaming of reading to children as a gray-haired old lady, picture books have always brought me comfort, inspiration, and warmth.

That’s why I invite you to explore Korean through beautifully written and illustrated picture books by Korean authors.
